Dawn Alexander

Dawn Alexander serves as Contracting Manager responsible for client credentialing and managed care contract coordination for the firm. Dawn began her career in 1992 after working in banking and finance. Dawn has worked in multiple practices gaining experience in internal medicine, general practice, cardiology, surgery, cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, diagnostic testing, urology and allied health. Dawn’s expertise resides in clinic operations where she has served to schedule patients, conduct insurance verification, collect on patient financial obligations and perform surgery and allied health pre-certification. Dawn has managed the billing and collection tasks of practices to include third party recovery and full accounts receivable management. Dawn assisted in two cardiac diagnostic centers achieving accreditation, has managed the business functions of small physician practices to include accounts payable responsibilities, credentialing and medical records management. Having hands on experience with each component of the revenue cycle, Dawn served as an Account Manager for the firm and today uses that knowledge to provide support to the overall process by fulfilling the contracting and credentialing responsibilities necessary in revenue management.
